AMP 5 Paste is an adenosine supplement for horses and dogs.
AMP-5 is a potent natural vasodilator which produces a marked increase in blood circulation and supply to both skeletal and cardiac muscles, which causes Vasodilation. Vasodilation is the widening of blood vessels which helps prevent heart strain during and after strenuous exercise.
AMP-5 also increases the oxygen and essential nutrient supply to the muscles and heart during hard work or intense exercise. This improves the efficiency of removal of waste products, like lactic acid, which helps delay the onset of muscle fatigue.
AMP-5 is effective in treatment and prevention of heart strain in horses.
AMP 5 Paste Composition:
Adenosine-5-monophosphate 200 mg/mL
Dosage Instructions for Horses and Dogs:
Adult horse: 10 mL
Dog: 1 mL per 10 kg bodyweight
How to Administer AMP 5 Paste:
24 hours before and within 4-6 hours of expected strenuous exercise, or as recommended by your veterinarian. To administer, place syringe in corner of mouth and place dose over the back of the tongue.
AMP-5 is particularly effective combined with other Ceva products such as TRIPART and / or COPHOS .
