I had some spare batteries laying around and popped them in the clock. The gears are still working just fine, but I couldn’t get the hand to tick. I’m not sure if this is because of
My lack of clock knowledge or because of the clock itself, but either way I’ve decided to lower the price considerably with that in mind. The clock may be unable to tick, or may just need wound? I’m not sure. Going from $50 to $35
Exposed gears and vintage paint job give this beautiful clock a super cool steampunk feel. This clock is semi-heavy. I’ve had it hanging by two large thumb tacks and that’s worked well for me, but could also be mounted in a more professional way to make it more secure :)
