Oyvind Morken ventures into the functional aspects of dance music for his Invisible Objects EP. The Theremin like motif of Unholy Trance creates a hazy B-movie aesthetic against the backdrop of a primal pulse. The lusciously serene New Age of Smokin, a cover of L.B. Bad's classic Nu Groove record from 1989, precedes the final ominous statement, Dance of the Drunk, which blends an electro beat with metallic bass-stabs.
